Hidden Bear Cabin is a cozy lakefront getaway with a private dock that sits on the calm inviting waters of Island Park Reservoir. The house is located high in the Rocky Mountains on a gated Island that features a common lodge for guest use. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need, has a full kitchen, coffee maker, toaster, you name it. Outside the cabin is a fire pit & dining area, plenty of seating and incredible views. Yellowstone National Park is just a short 40 minute drive away.
The main floor of this beautiful two story cabin features a bedroom with a queen bed and a shared bathroom. This floor also houses a full-sized kitchen, large dining room table and a spacious family room with a fireplace, TV and plenty of room for gathering with the whole family.
The loft is the perfect space for the kids to sleep. It has 2 queen beds for that fun sleepover type feel and a full bathroom just for the kids. Here there is also a love seat for relaxing and reading a book and a beautiful view of the lake.
Guests will have access to the entire house with a private fire pit and outdoor areas but will share access of the dock with the house next door which can also be rented as a pair for getting multiple groups together. Look for the listing titled “Bunk House Cabin” for availability and pricing. Guests will also have access to the Lake Side Lodge which is for community use. Here you’ll also be able to find rentals and food.
This property sits on the cove side of the Island, and later in the summer the water level can drop and recede based on previous snow levels and use. Please note that there is free wifi but not cable TV available at the cabin. Cable TV is available at the Lakeside Lodge. Cell phones do work at the cabin should you need them. There is no A/C.
