Henry’s Hideaway is a cozy 4-bedroom, 1-bathroom retreat located on the west side of Henry’s Lake, offering unbeatable seclusion with no neighbors for miles! This secluded escape is nestled next to the lake with Duck Creek running through it. The cabin features a newly remodeled bathroom and kitchen and a spacious living room centered around a large fireplace. The extensive outdoor space is perfect for family gatherings on the decks or around the outdoor fire pit. 4WD is recommended.
The ground floor of this two story home has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Upon entering through the front door, you’ll be greeted by a massive custom fireplace at the heart of a large living room and a newly remodeled kitchen. Beyond the kitchen, you’ll find two bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom features a king bed and private access to the back deck with stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, a wardrobe, and beautiful views.
Upstairs in the spacious loft, are two twin bunk beds, a foosball table, and a secondary living room, making it an ideal spot for the kids to play games. The loft also has two bedrooms. The first bedroom features a queen bed and a beautiful view from the window. The second bedroom, located at the back of the house, offers a breathtaking view of Henry’s Lake, a king bed, a rocking chair, and a crib.
To reach the home, you’ll need to pass through three separate gates. Please ensure you close all gates behind you to prevent livestock from escaping. Guests will have access to the main house and the fenced yard, but the barn on the property is off-limits.
Various animals roam around the house, such as moose, elk, deer, and bears. Please DO NOT approach wild animals, as they may attack if they feel threatened. Always maintain a safe distance and carry bear spray. Shooting, hunting, and fireworks are NOT allowed on the property. Additionally, there is no air conditioning.
During your stay, take advantage of all the Island Park area has to offer with fishing, swimming, golfing and the amazing views in Yellowstone National Park. Feel free to reach out to us for more information on local activities and restaurants.
Be sure to plan a day in Yellowstone National Park during your stay with us. There are countless geysers, waterfalls, thermal features, wildlife and beautiful scenery. We especially love to stop at Old Faithful, Roosevelt Arch, Tower Falls and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. If you’re wanting to see some of the amazing wildlife in the park, Hayden Valley and Lamar Valley provide the best views of wildlife in the early morning and at sunset.
Grand Teton National Park is a scenic two and a half hour drive from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park through the South Entrance into Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Guests will need their own vehicle as public transportation and ride share services are not available.
